Organizational Culture Workshops and Coaching

Branch Out to Reach Your Highest PotentialSM

A positive workplace culture that fosters employee satisfaction, celebrates team and individual performance, and nurtures creativity and innovative thinking, organically promotes technical excellence that spurs organizational growth. Organizational Culture Workshops and Coaching allows individuals and teams to assess their knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) as well as examine their mindsets, habits, and behaviors to create a more cohesive culture where employees voluntarily align themselves with the organization’s vision and mission while accomplishing their personal and professional goals.

As a SHRM-CP, Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional, Certified Culture Coach, Certified Executive Coach, Certified Leadership Coach, and Certified North Star Coach, Dr. Devonish leverages research like Hofstede’s Cultural Dimensions, Leading with Culture©, and Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs to educate clients of the dynamics of an organization’s culture. Via feedback from the client, interviews, survey results, and other documentation, she applies her expertise to assess the current state of an organization, guide key stakeholders through the design of a desired future state, and map out a clear, actionable process for achieving it.

The Organizational Culture Transformation Experience

Designed specifically for large organizations with over 500 employees that are seeking to enhance team dynamics, leadership cohesion, and individual performance, this process defines the current state and determines what assessments, workshops, coaching, or other resources may apply to an organization’s specific challenges and goals.

  • Defining the Current State: The initial stage of the engagement begins with a review of an organization's current state, which assesses various key performance indicators (KPIs), such as engagement levels, employee feedback, turnover rates, demographics, and other available data to understand the unique lens through which employees view their work and the organization. An Initial Analysis of Organizational Culture report is delivered and discussed to determine the types of coaching required (individuals or teams), and whether additional assessments or workshops are needed to reinforce what is working well or address areas for improvement.

  • The Coaching Process: Dr. Devonish offers coaching for senior leadership and key personnel using a structured process with the desired end state as the focus. This collaborative phase ensures alignment with the organization’s mission and strategic objectives and sets a clear vision for the future. Once the desired end state is identified, supporting goals and KPIs are identified through a co-creative critical thinking process that are tied to organizational key result areas (KRAs). Senior leaders and process owners develop a detailed action plan inclusive of milestones, tasks, and schedules for their own transformation, which is embedded into the overall organizational transformation. This roadmap is designed to transition identified "red flags" into "green flags," signifying a more positive organizational culture.
