Her clients include financial services, technology, manufacturing, energy, and environmental organizations as well as individuals seeking to advance or transition in their careers. While they represent a diverse group of industries and individuals, her clients share the same objectives: an ethics and compliance program that meets Board approval, a workforce that supports the company’s vision with enthusiasm, and a purpose-driven path that aligns with professional and personal goals.

Dr. Devonish’s philosophy concerning good business practices has four structural supports:

  1. Ethics is about humans interacting with humans and making the right choices, even in difficult situations, so everyone can benefit.

  2. Compliance means adherence to policies, rules, and regulations to ensure customer protection, employee safety, and organizational security.

  3. Culture is the collective form of agreed-upon ways that a company’s employees interact with each other, clients, and the community.

  4. Leadership is about setting a direction with a collaborative vision towards advancing strategic goals with the buy-in of all stakeholders.

These four structural supports are also the foundations of her engagement in community service, industry groups, and academic interests. Some of Dr. Devonish’s current activities include:

  • Participating in the International Coaching Federation, Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics, and Society for Human Resource Management.

  • Serving on committees of the Ponte Vedra Woman’s Club and the Rotary Club of Oceanside-Jacksonville, an affiliate of Rotary International.

  • Advocating for the conservation of the North Atlantic Right Whale as an Amelia Island Whale Ambassador through educational programs like the Solve It for Kids podcast.
